“THE ANCIENT MARINER”

This circa 1850 helmsman is dedicated to the courage of the early explorers and mariners who lost their lives in the 5200 ships wrecked on the Nova Scotia coast over the last four centuries. Part proceeds of the sale of this sculpture will fund the eventual placement of a life-size statue of the same figure underwater at a popular diving location in Nova Scotia. Standing 18” tall, this sculpture is presented on an oak base.
